Windup flashlight and other stuff

Picked this baby up today, at a General Paints store. lol Was in the bargain bin beside the counter. A windup flashlight with LED bulbs. Cost me $10. Looks like the silver one they advertise for $14.95, on the link I provided below. They also seem to have a bunch of other prep type gear on their website, for anyone interested. Enjoy.

PS, if you turn it on once then only one LED lights up. If you turn it on and off, and then on again, you get all three LED's lit up. Very cool.

Some one gave me one of those as a christmas gift 2 years back . THOSE ARE GOOD TO HAVE AROUND!!! 2 years from now something like that may be worths its weight in gold for the simple fact that it takes no batteries to use.

That was a smart buy!!! I would pick up 3 more if I were you if you can get them at a good price like that .

great going either way !

They sell batteryless radios and lanterns too.

Now that I've tried it, and researched their website a bit, I might go back to that paint store tomorrow and grab a few more. ;)

The plastice crank handle is not strong enough. Or I was too goofy with it and it broke. Good lights though. Not as much light as a battery powered. But that's OK.

BTW, the wind-up flashlight takes a battery, its internal.
